330 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6B 1T1

Internet Archive Canada for Open by Design - Tools for Participation. Join us as we explore how we can build a more open and participatory digital future, and preserve our collective memory.

From the organizer

We are excited to introduce the inaugural recipients of the AI Builders Fellowship, a collaboration between Internet Archive Canada and the BC + AI community. The fellows will share the projects they’re developing and the questions they’re exploring at the intersection of artificial intelligence, public information and the open internet.

As part of the evening, Internet Archive Founder Brewster Kahle will share his vision for the future of the internet, the importance of preserving and expanding access to knowledge, and the role we can all play in shaping what comes next.

Come for the ideas and stay for refreshments, conversation, and opportunities to meet the people behind the work.
