Say you're going in the free Culdesac app and it reminds you before it starts. You can also see who else is going.
It's the end of an era! Guelph Public Library is moving from its original location on 100 Norfolk Street at the end of 2026. Now is the time to reminisce with other library lovers who share fond memories of attending storytimes in the program room, discovering favourite reads in the stacks, and chatting with library staff at the service desk. Library staff will take you behind the scenes of the aging Main Library building and share fascinating stories that reveal how the people who filled its spaces, including staff, visitors, and generations of community members, made it a beloved gathering place. While the building's chapter is coming to a close, the spirit of community that defined it will continue in the New Central Library.
