DESCRIPTION:Join us for a conversation with 2026 Art In Real Life (Art IRL)
artist Beck Stanbra and the Guelph Arts Council.Beck Stanbra is the 2026
Art In Real Life (Art IRL) artist. Stanbra's project uses documentary styl
e photography to showcase Guelph’s diverse queer community on a public s
cale. Through a series of “snapshots\,” the line between public and pr
ivate life is challenged and explored. This project brings the personal ex
periences of queer people into public\, forcing viewers to rethink traditi
onal perceptions of queer life. This artist talk invites the community to
meet the artist and learn more about the project\, including the cyanotype
process. Come with your questions\, curiosity\, and community spirit.\n\n
