Got a story to tell? Join us at the East Atlanta Branch for a night of sharing the Stories that Bring us Home through your medium of choice (poetry, music, readings, comedy, etc.) to learn from and lift up voices in our community. We aim to highlight stories of heritage, gratitude, family, traditions, and community. Observers are welcome!Performers, please register in advance with your email, and contact the branch upon registration for any equipment requests or accommodations. Musical performances must be acoustic or stripped down due to room limitations. Our crowd will vote on the top performances, and the winners will receive a gift card prize sponsored by the Friends of the East Atlanta Library.Speaking performances will be limited to 5 minutes, and musical performances are limited to 1-2 songs. Times may vary based on attendance.
