Gearhouse Community Events

Outdoor and community events aimed at making Seattle feel more welcoming, especially for people new to the area. Many events are free, some ticketed, all open to everyone. On Meetup since 2021, ~12,300 members.

Many events free; Sunday walk $5 for non-members, back as cafe credit

First visit

Events are open to everyone, including people brand new to the area. For the Sunday walk, arrive at Gearhouse Coffee Shop between 9:30 and 10am, find the host outside with a card reader to check in, and the group leaves at 10am for an easy 3 to 5 mile walk; the route is posted in the Meetup comments a day ahead.
