Join the Riverview Horticultural Center Society for an exploration of səmiq̓ʷəʔelə/Riverview Lands, one of Metro Vancouver's most remarkable cultural and botanical landscapes. This presentation will trace the site's layered history from its role as a provincial mental health institution to its evolution as a treasured public arboretum. Along the way, we'll meet some of Riverview's most extraordinary trees from around the world and discuss the changing values and that have shaped this unique place for more than a century.
